After several weeks of hard work, the new Protean Systems responsive website is now live!

Responsive Web Design means the new website is suited for all sizes of device. RWD uses CSS3 media queries and fluid design to make sure that all content scales appropriately whether displayed on a smartphone, tablet or desktop.

This technology will be applied to all current Protean customer websites and all new website designs.

It’s a great step forward for websites and the pain of developing for various devices will be much eased by this.

BBC Switches to Responsive Website

"The old site that we had, which is now four-plus years old, was really designed with PCs in mind. Moving to a fully responsive solution which works across mobile, tablets and desktops is the way to go. It means that we can have one solution that is a web solution for all of our users."
